Michelle and Jon {Palm Beach Zoo}
When I found out that the Palm Beach Zoo has a flamingo meet and greet, I jokingly said to my friend Jon “Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could do your engagement session with the flamingos?!”
Being as Michelle is zookeeper at the PB Zoo, she took this idea and went to the bosses. And next thing you know, we got the all clear to spend some time checking out all the fun at the zoo, ending with some amazing bird time.
There’s something so romantic about a carousel.
Twinkle lights + a super cute couple = what dreams are made of.
Can’t pass up the opportunity for some fresh popcorn, mixed with a little fun.

If you know me, you know I love a classic car in my photo sessions. These two didn’t seem to mind.
The zoo has so many awesome little rustic areas. Michelle and Jon were amazing tour guides!
3…2…1…. free the flamingos and let the “awwww”ing begin!
The two zookeppers, Devin and Miranda, that helped handle the flamingos were amazingly helpful and super funny. Hiding behind trees to stay out of the shot, but to be close enough to keep the babies together and safe. #zookeepercameo
These sweet little guys (and girls) are so curious and funny. They are so great with people and literally eat snacks out of your hand.
Catalina was so impressed with Michelle’s engagement ring she tried to take it right off her hand. But who could blame her, that ring is stunning! Good work Jon!
As we end our session, I am now a total zoo lover and can’t wait to go back and check it out, and say hi to our new pink friends.
